Chavon Staten is 8 months pregnant here and how beautiful she looks!! I always had issues that pregnant women are veiwed as not-so-hot and gorgeous. I can careless what other people think but I wanted to make a statement!! I believe pregnant women are absoutely, stunningly beautiful and I wanted to convey the message.
I have asked David Morgan and Kayla Jo to collaborate on goddess image making and here’s what we got. Beautiful, isn’t she?

It can be confusing at a time like this. Too much misery on TV and not enough information to actually do something..
Even if you can’t travel to Haiti, or don’t have lots of money to donate to relief efforts, there’s a lot that can be done simply by spreading the word. Here’s our original post with some added ways you can help out.
***
Here’s just a small collection of what’s out there.
1. Huffington Post has an ongoing list of relief efforts and how you can get involved that it is going to continue updating. Check it out here.
2. Matador is trying to use the power of its network of passionate travels to make a difference. They’re trying to get Jet Blue to sponsor a flight of volunteers to provide on the ground support. They need help with exposure, logistics and simply spreading the word. Take a couple of minutes to help out and re-tweet this message:
@JetBlue: If @MatadorNetwork could fill a plane with volunteers, would you fly them to Santo Domingo to help #quake vics in #Haiti?
3. CNN has compiled a list of organizations that will be providing support to the estimated 3 million people that have been affected by the earthquake.
4. Many people are engaging the Twitter community to raise awareness, as well as funds. Search “Haiti” and see what the latest updates are.
5. Musician Wyclef is asking people to raise money for Yele Haiti by texting Yele to 510 510 and donate $5. You can pass the message along via Twitter:
RT @wyclef: Haiti is in need of immediate AID please text Yele to 510 510 and donate $5 toward earthquake relief.
6. President Obama has pledged his support, and you can follow the Administration’s recommendations on how you can help via the Whitehouse.gov blog. Families of Americans living in Haiti are encouraged to contact the State Department at 888-407-4747
7. Help the Red Cross out by donating on the website or texting “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10. Help out my re-tweeting this message
RT @redcross You can text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10 to Red Cross relief efforts in #haiti.
Making something happen starts with you.

Inspired by beautiful sustainable artwork of Susan Benarcik in Green Space in SoHo, I created a story of ‘Struggling Elements’, portraying the trial of our natural envionment we are witnessing.
We are often discouraged by ‘how little’ we each can do but that same little effort by each artists at Green Spaces ignited my creativity! These guiding lights are around us always, as long as we choose to see them… well, we can even be one by doing our little thing here and there.

Meet your (not-so-average) girl next door, Kirsy and Sharlne. The duo came as a referral from Keith Pearson, the wardrobe stylist, and no wonder he recommended them! They are super fun and easy to work with… the I have to change my idea of ‘Peeping Jane’ to ‘Meet your neighbor…’.
Kirsy with super clear green eyes was perfect to portray feline-sexy girl next door, especailly with a help from Sharlene in the wardrobe department…

Yours truely and Kayla Jo collaborated this time with a model and actress, Evangeline Reilly, a native of San Francisco transported to our own, fabulous Brooklyn.
Kayla and I knew we could do something out of ordinary with her, knowing her strong acting background… well, what’s better than letting her spill out her emotions all over 3rd Ward studio!! Accompanied by Kayla’s super creative interpretation of each emotions, we finished up our shoot after 5 hrs, more than excited… and here’s what we created.
So what do you think? Isn’t she so full of them?

Sustainable clothing designer, Raina Blyer of Ryann launched her 2nd line, Creem this Fall. Her launch event at R Bar in LES for this organic active wear line featured NYC performers, like caporaira dancers, contortionist, house dancer and pole dancer to show off just how ‘active’ you can be in her super comfy and feel-good fabric of choice and design.
I mean, you can bend, kick and fly without anything falling out of these super mini bra-top and shorts? I bet not many of us are doing much more in our active wear than this awesome pole dancer, agreed?

Sometimes we just need to let go and get in touch with our inner children, they are crying out for you to get loose and live. Soul-reclaiming process is gradual and you have to let them go, to live…
